Dan Sheedy BioDan Sheedy

Resilient, courageous, determined…these are just three of the words used to describe Dan Sheedy. Dan is an experienced executive coach and accomplished corporate leader who shares his inspiring and motivating story with individuals and organizations that are looking for tools to rise to the next level. Dan has overcome amazing odds in order to live his life at the highest level of performance, and he is passionate about helping others do the same.

A former Marine Captain and a father of two, Dan nearly lost his life when his car was struck by another vehicle that ran a red light. Declared dead and revived twice, Dan suffered a traumatic brain injury, numerous broken bones, a collapsed lung, three brain aneurysms, and he was in a coma for several weeks.

Against all odds, Dan fully recovered, and now he exceeds even his own previous standards of excellence. In fact, as if learning to walk again were not enough, Dan returned to running, something he previously did as a hobby and has run marathons all over the country; including The Boston Marathon.

It was his positive attitude, drive and sheer will that propelled him through months of intensive physical therapy and helped him regain the powers of speech, memory and high-level intellectual thought. In his keynotes, Dan focuses on how these same principles and attitudes can be applied to propel individuals and organizations to greater success.
